George and Aria

Monday night. We watched a recording of the book of Ruth. Two ladies have a vision of presenting the story of Ruth in audio form to widows. The male members of their families were wiped out by the former Sadaam regime. They are very poor and functionally illiterate. JR is the audio tech. In the afternoon, we visited Aria. A 4 year old with down syndrome, who had a heart operation in early 2008. The family had us for lunch. Shiftah (hamburger), rice, parsley, tomato and cucumber salad, bread and beverage. Hot tea later followed by fruit. We sure are not starving. It is hot. More later--supper is served. George
